In the 30th minute, Clemente Gaizkine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Judas Verón to strike the kick off in the second half. ZAFIRO FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Belgrano de Pibasog's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Delmiro Donostia took the corner. The corner led ZAFIRO FC's Delmiro Donostia to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Raggio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Ilinca in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Ilinca came free, but Armando Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Donostia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Raggio was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros was substituted for Silvio Abadia.
