Christiano Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Christiano Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Cearense to strike the kick off in the second half. Christiano Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Amorim in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Clóvis Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiano Veiga was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Sporting Uai MzC™ got a freekick which was hit by Valeh Cerda. When Vitório Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. In the 80th minute John McCain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
