Basmane Texas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Borys Budarz in the 12th minute. A well done corner resulted in Ulvi Gencal drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Carhue's goalkeeper. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Joost Sielis got free with Angel Xacintu in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basmane Texas's Franco Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Brent-Jan Kindermans came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Brent-Jan Kindermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Franco Armani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carhue's Angel Xacintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Carhue from getting a goal against them. Carhue's Angel Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Budarz in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gürsel Aksel could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Angel Xacintu however easily saved by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
