Grzegorz Motowski ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 16th minute of the game was made by Szymon Pyrzyce with Marcin Mentis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacinto de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ján Oblak having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Wittbach SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto de Lara came free, but Ján Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jacinto de Lara sped through Wittbach SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ján Oblak. Nikos Vourlis came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Antônio Borges could save by the left post. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 26th minute of play. Aarre Rautee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Antônio Borges made a huge save. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Motowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Motowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute Marcin Mentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 34th minute of play. Wittbach SSA's Marcin Mentis got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Pires was slow to take the kick. During this time PIRATAS TFP's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Clemente Pires got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ján Oblak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half PIRATAS TFP were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grzegorz Motowski made a kick off. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Mentis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Vander hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szymon Pyrzyce got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcin Mentis. Ján Oblak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto de Lara's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 71st minute of play. Ján Oblak made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gerson de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ján Oblak. Ján Oblak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 93 minutes into the match, Jacinto de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ján Oblak. Wittbach SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Aarre Rautee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PIRATAS TFP walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
