The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vinicio Revuelta might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidiu Caranfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vinicio Revuelta ran back to his position shaking his head. Well-Well Benne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 13 minutes, Emilian Moți mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Vertigo and the Orihuela Club de Fútbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Moți. A hard shot 14 in the game by Desiderio Perutxo from a close distance when the talented Ovidiu Caranfil managed to make a qualified save. Club Vertigo's players were relieved. Grant Moco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Murgu in the 25th minute of the match. Orihuela Club de Fútbol were furious when Nicolás Grau was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orihuela Club de Fútbol! The referee gave Club Vertigo a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stelian Murgu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Grant Moco. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Iurea in the 34th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Grant Moco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Godofredo Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Desiderio Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

In the 52nd minute Well-Well Benne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Murgu came free, but Grant Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Perutxo came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Belezhkov kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Stelian Murgu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Grant Moco made a huge save. Orihuela Club de Fútbol made a substitution. Júlio Britto replaced Noel Travassos. If Godofredo Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Benne came free, but Grant Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Manzano in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Fernando Manzano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil. Ovidiu Caranfil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grant Moco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Iurea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Nicasio Litago in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Vertigo's Emilian Moți. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Britto in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Caranfil saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Grant Moco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vasile Iurea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 92 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Deyan Iordănescu got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Fernando Manzano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Caranfil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Vertigo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
