Zico Galo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Adam Northe managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marco-Antonio van Basten kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Ferid Eker notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rot-Weiss-Essen's Adam Northe. Adam Northe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferid Eker in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Northe saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zico Galo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. Rot-Weiss-Essen's Adam Northe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferid Eker in the 17th minute of play. Ferid Eker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Adam Northe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ferid Eker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Adam Northe made a huge save. Adam Northe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferid Eker in the 26th minute. Velho Barreiro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferid Eker in the 27th minute. It was a well-played corner which Zico Galo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ferid Ekers short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Adam Northe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a left leg Adam Northe saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Ferid Eker notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rot-Weiss-Essen's Adam Northe. Adam Northe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Velho Barreiro FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Panagiotis Stamatas hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Hidalgo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ferid Ekers short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Adam Northe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erkan Fostiropoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Gianluca Althenn. The corner ended in Erasmo Baleren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Adam Northe did a great save. The audience was convinced that Ferid Eker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Northe was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Ferid Eker struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Adam Northe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velho Barreiro FC. In the 60th minute Zico Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Northe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Northe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zico Galo's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Northe was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ferid Eker came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Velho Barreiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferid Eker couldn't finish the play. Adam Northe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Zico Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Ansgar Küpper-Adebisi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Hidalgo. Velho Barreiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ansgar Küpper-Adebisi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. The audience was convinced that Ferid Eker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Northe was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Adam Northe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferid Eker in the 84th minute of play. When Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie prevented a goal. Velho Barreiro FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferid Eker took the corner. Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adam Northe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Zico Galo put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Northe. Adam Northe came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Velho Barreiro FC's Zico Galo. But to his dismay, Zico Galo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Velho Barreiro FC had played much better football throughout.
