The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when Cardo Ruso Cordobés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Panpili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Falcioni was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eusebio Ecija. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Graziano got free with Julio Falcioni in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Panpili hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Ecija. In the 43rd minute Deportivo Balvanera were awarded a corner. Eusebio Ecija went to the cornerflag to take it. Damian Galsino tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Julio Falcioni. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franky Dhondt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Balvanera.
