The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Mesquita in the 6th managed to get into a good position. Jim Martin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Sven-Åke Granberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Galicia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leonel Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jim Martin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Galicia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Heli got free with Dong in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Galicia's Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Heli in the 63rd minute of play. Dong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Dong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Primitivo Heli went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 72ndth minute of the game Primitivo Heli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Galicia's Dong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jim Martin came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Galicia's Svanbjörn von den Berg. But to his dismay, Svanbjörn von den Berg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svanbjörn von den Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jim Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svanbjörn von den Berg in the 84th minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Eket BK's Pelle Blomquist made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eket BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo Galicia for a fine match.
