After taking down the ball on Deportivo Galicia's corner Sven-Åke Granberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jim Martin quite easily take care of the ball. Pelle Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dong having to interfere. Deportivo Galicia's Dong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Galicia from getting a goal against them. Pelle Blomquist struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eket BK. In the 27th match minute, Eket BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Blomquist in the 29th minute of play forced Deportivo Galicia's goalkeeper Dong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merih Demiral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Sven-Åke Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Mesquita was the one to do the kick off. Sven-Åke Granberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto De Diego charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 77th minute Svanbjörn von den Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Primitivo Heli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Galicia's Dong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Romo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Heli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eket BK's Anders Sundberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dong in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Svanbjörn von den Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Jim Martin made a huge save. Dong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Heli's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Deportivo Galicia's goal looked a bit too open when Pelle Blomquist came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deportivo Galicia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
