AGT Team's Zinedine Benzema got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When La Academia's Francisco Alberto Zañartu in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Woody in the 33rd minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute La Academia were awarded a corner. Maxín Bacarreza went to the cornerflag to take it. La Academia's Maxín Bacarreza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baltazar Adán in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. La Academia's Iwan Grocholski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save La Academia from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Lesardo Moreno came free, but Iwan Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Gong Peng Bo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Lesardo Moreno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Iwan Grocholski, passed just outside the right post. La Academia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Zinedine Benzema scored to the left of an out of position Iwan Grocholski, making the score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zinedine Benzema stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Lalo Salamanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwan Grocholski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinedine Benzema in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby Woody, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute Dennis Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Grocholski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinedine Benzema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AGT Team made a substitution. Benito Azofra replaced Dennis Sjögren. Lalo Salamanca kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Robby Woody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Adán having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Benito Azofra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AGT Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 92 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Bertran Diaz came free, but Iwan Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AGT Team had won after a very even match.
