Vicente Santana took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Boniel. Grütly's Tadeo Frichoso was substituted for Cecilio Mirande. Epifanio Boniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolo Bolaño's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Consejo del Mate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fagildo Pamanes in the 75th minute. Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Epifanio Boniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Fidel Gomesano with Alejandro Marin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Grütly's Tadeo Frichoso got a free kick in the 78th minute. The Consejo del Mate fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
