With his leg Cléberson dos Santos managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Milosz Ikalewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute Cosmos 1984 NewDance were awarded a corner. Zbyszko Walkowski went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Przemyslaw Przybylo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Milosz Ikalewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the inter de Milan defense, Tymoteusz Rakowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléberson dos Santos. The inter de Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléberson dos Santos should have stopped the shot. Józef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival de Sena in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy de Andrade in the 31st minute of play forced Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival de Sena in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Kryspin Sala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruy de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Józef Wandzik having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tymoteusz Rakowski to make the kick off. Percival de Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Józef Wandzik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percival de Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. Cléberson dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Ikalewicz's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Ruy de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute of the match inter de Milan got a corner. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruy de Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on inter de Milan's corner Ruy de Andrade fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Józef Wandzik quite easily take care of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Milosz Ikalewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléberson dos Santos. inter de Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milosz Ikalewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. If Jan Pietras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléberson dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Pietras in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, inter de Milan's José Lara got a free kick in the 94th minute.
