When Jair Reinoso came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Kalatakaya F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jair Reinoso couldn't finish the play. Luis Galarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argoitz Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Recep Guftar in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Barovero saved River CBBA from getting behind. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argoitz Abeijon in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Tonete Abaurre came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Guftar in the 30th minute of play. Kalatakaya F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Marques in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Eriberto Marques got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Barovero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argoitz Abeijon in the 37th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jair Reinoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Deng Xing Sang got a free kick in the 44th minute. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Cristaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Kalatakaya F.C. made a substitution. Aaron Gauargi replaced Jair Reinoso. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Moises Kelemen was substituted for Luis Cristaldo. In the 55th minute Benito Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Funes in the 62nd minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River CBBA's Endura Abechuco was substituted for Cipriano Abechuco. After 68 minutes of play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Lluterio in the 79th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Galarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ponciano Abarca in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute River CBBA were awarded a corner. Guerau Abeitia went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on River CBBA's corner Endura Abechuco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luis Galarza quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when River CBBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arano Abendano didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kalatakaya F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River CBBA.
