Endura Abechuco took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Galarza. Luis Galarza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, River CBBA's Endura Abechuco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Galarza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Batista in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kalatakaya F.C. defense, Sergio Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Galarza. The Kalatakaya F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Galarza should have stopped the shot. Luis Galarza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Funes's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio got a free kick in the 26th minute. Juan Funes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Galarza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Benito Lluterio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Barovero. Benito Lluterio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 37 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Benito Lluterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Barovero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Endura Abechuco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Galarza was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Sergio Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Recep Guftar in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Lluterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Funes in the 66th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Juan Funes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juan Funes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Galarza was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Guftar in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of River CBBA booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Gutiérrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca was substituted for Juan Funes. River CBBA made a substitution. Varis Birgelis replaced Cipriano Abechuco. River CBBA made a substitution. Argoitz Abeijon replaced Arano Abendano. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Boğaçhan Akyel. In the 86th minute, Ponciano Abarca made a precise shot to the right of Luis Galarza. Kalatakaya F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Recep Guftar in the 89th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Guftar came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Lluterio scored 3-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Barovero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The River CBBA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
