With a left leg Roberto Layton saved ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ from getting behind. After 18 minutes ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. In the 20th minute Sweden were awarded a corner. Joacim Hansson went to the cornerflag to take it. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Layton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Isak Jacobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Darrigrande, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Darrigrande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlo Darrigrande might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isak Jacobsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
