With a left leg Abelardo Janpier saved Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC from getting behind. Abelardo Janpier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wen Bing Liang's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Todd Gronow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of János Moravecz. Todd Gronow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. János Moravecz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todd Gronow's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Enzo Cope managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ludomil Bronkala in the 15 minute of the game. János Moravecz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Gronow in the 16th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match SÉ SE got a corner. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Levente Ballai ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SÉ SE's Levente Ballai to fire away a dangerous shot which Abelardo Janpier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute, Todd Gronow made a precise shot to the right of János Moravecz. SÉ SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Todd Gronow came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Todd Gronow couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Bing Liang in the 34th minute of play. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Pálffy in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wen Bing Liang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Janpier was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 48 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Pálffy came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wen Bing Liang to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Wen Bing Liang put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Abelardo Janpier. In the 55thth minute of the game Todd Gronow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SÉ SE's János Moravecz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Armas Vapamaa struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Abelardo Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÉ SE. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén was substituted for Ildefonso Foro. In the 68th minute Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were awarded a corner. Andreas Harlén went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Melquiades Lastur getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zalán Ibrahimovic got free with Abelardo Janpier in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Todd Gronow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. János Moravecz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Melquiades Lastur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 80th minute of play forced SÉ SE's goalkeeper János Moravecz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. János Moravecz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Gronow went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute Zalán Ibrahimovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
