SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Artur Bînciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Cole in the 20th minute of play. Dayo Kafadarov might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egun Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dayo Kafadarov ran back to his position shaking his head. Andy Cole received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Bînciu came out and tried to block the shot, but Andy Cole slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Artur Bînciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
