With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grant Moco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Inge Villafane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Manzano. If Fernando Manzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Inge Villafane threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernando Manzano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when La Mora CAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Du Jian Chen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Ronaldinho Gaucho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Fernando Manzano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Villafane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Grant Moco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Coutinho in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Martin Suy got a free kick in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes La Mora CAT got a freekick which was hit by Martin Suy. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Figueira was the one to do the kick off. La Mora CAT's Pau Cubarsí was substituted for Etor Benito. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joerie De Cat during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Mora CAT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Vladimiro Figueira took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Villafane. Inge Villafane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Mihăiţă Florescu was substituted for Júlio Britto. The throw-in from Nabucodonosor Rallo in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Nicolás Grau. A collision led to La Mora CAT getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ronaldinho Gaucho hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Figueira notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of La Mora CAT's Inge Villafane. Inge Villafane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Figueira came free, but Inge Villafane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vladimiro Figueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Jose Policarpio replaced Ronaldinho Gaucho. Inge Villafane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Figueira in the 84th minute of play. David Armada kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Figueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Inge Villafane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Policarpio in the 98th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Grant Moco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Orihuela Club de Fútbol had won after a very even match.
