After 20 played minutes La Mora CAT got a freekick which was hit by Martin Suy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes No in the 23rd minute of play forced La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Inge Villafane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Carlos Suciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Etor Benito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Astudillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inge Villafane. La Mora CAT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iosu Pantoja's late challenge caught a La Mora CAT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iosu Pantoja helped the player get up and apologised. Inge Villafane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes No, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Mora CAT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Severino Coutinho in the 32nd minute. If Ronaldinho Gaucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reyes No recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Salud y República from getting a goal against them. Juan Carlos Suciu made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Severino Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Gaucho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inge Villafane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Vila in the 55th minute of the match. Emilio Doblas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Inge Villafane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes No in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salud y República's Mauricio Astudillo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Du Jian Chens short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Juan Carlos Suciu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Juan Carlos Suciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Coutinho in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Severino Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carlos Suciu. Salud y República's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Juan Carlos Suciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Coutinho in the 88th minute. Inge Villafane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Vila, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
