After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Zheng Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orxata I Fartons's supporters rose to their feet, but Zheng Jian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Roig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zheng Jian in the 24th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Orxata I Fartons got a corner. Picanya FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The referee showed Desiderio Elias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zheng Jian in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Orxata I Fartons's Marius Payet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marius Payet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Orxata I Fartons protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marius Payet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 47 minutes into the game, one of Orxata I Fartons:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

Orxata I Fartons's attentive Everardo Eguntsenti managed to snatch the ball when Desiderio Elias made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute of the match, Everardo Eguntsenti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Naldo Roig was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Baltazar Zaplana hit a great ball. Orxata I Fartons's 李永乐 á Bø managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hori Aranzubia in the 79 minute of the game.
