The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aloys Metzler hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The WOLVES FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when WOLVES FC's Costin Alucai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the game, Armin Lütke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Hansa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WOLVES FC the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, KFC Hansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Lütke to maneuver through the defense. 肖星瑜 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ole Per Köppen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to KFC Hansa getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Murathan Kutcan hit a great ball. If Federico Suriani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, KFC Hansa's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Suriani came free, but Ole Per Köppen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Armin Lütke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Federico Suriani came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the WOLVES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Suriani couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, WOLVES FC's Federico Suriani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ole Per Köppen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The KFC Hansa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. WOLVES FC were winning 0-1.

Murathan Kutcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, WOLVES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murathan Kutcan came free, but Artemio Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ole Per Köppen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Suriani in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Costin Alucai took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ole Per Köppen to make any attempt to save it. Costin Alucais short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Ole Per Köppen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 65th minute of the match WOLVES FC got a corner. KFC Hansa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 肖星瑜 ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led WOLVES FC's 肖星瑜 to fire away a dangerous shot which Ole Per Köppen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 尹钢城 kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ulf Bernhauer, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murathan Kutcan in the 73rd minute of play forced WOLVES FC's goalkeeper Artemio Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costin Alucais short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Ole Per Köppen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 90 played minutes KFC Hansa got a freekick which was hit by Murathan Kutcan. Costin Alucai in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ole Per Köppen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. WOLVES FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
