In the 14th minute Aníbal Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Allbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Eduard Iacobescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Flavio Sedeni came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Sedeni couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Leal came free, but Magne Allbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Aníbal Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Allbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Allbom having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Leal in the 32nd minute of play forced THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goalkeeper Magne Allbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Alvinegro de Tupã from getting a goal against them. In the 40th match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Meireles to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alvinegro de Tupã:s goal. Magne Allbom had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Deng Shu Kuan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Karl Martin Bell Burnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Brasil in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aníbal Brasil made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Hellström got free with Magne Allbom in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Deng Shu Kuan was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvinegro de Tupã's players had a chance to rest. Alvinegro de Tupã's Deng Shu Kuan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Magne Allbom in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 61st minute Jerry Nolan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Sedeni scored 1-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Martin Bell Burnell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvinegro de Tupã made a substitution. Ernesto dos Santos replaced Hortêncio Donatello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Hellström in the 73rd minute of play forced THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's goalkeeper Magne Allbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvinegro de Tupã's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Nolan in the 87th minute of play. Magne Allbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Hellström in the 90th minute of the match. Aníbal Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Magne Allbom made a huge save. Alvinegro de Tupã's Aníbal Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvinegro de Tupã's Recai Garipbaş was substituted for Åke Hellström. After a rather tough play, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Aurelio Paris got a free kick in the 96th minute. Deng Shu Kuan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
