The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Mert Günok, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Özgür Özbek scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Borys Gruchacz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lupe Bower came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mert Günok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Lara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mert Günok came out and tried to block the shot, but Mané Lara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lupe Bower in the 20th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarkko Laatikainen in the 22nd minute of play. Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lupe Bower in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lupe Bower in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Gruchacz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mert Günok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Mert Günok had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Lara. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarkko Laatikainen was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Jarkko Laatikainen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mert Günok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Mert Günok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Donatello in the 68th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Fernando Vale heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mert Günok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Khan in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Lupe Bower reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Borys Gruchacz. The goal made the score 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lupe Bower came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Khan in the 84th minute of play forced Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goalkeeper Mert Günok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Futbol Sevenler Kulübü got a corner. Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 90th minute Fernando Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mert Günok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Gruchacz. Borys Gruchacz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
The Futbol Sevenler Kulübü players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
