Rouven Nussli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Sciotto in the 4th minute. When Tim Klack fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARGOYLES's protests and gave Tim Klack a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes GARGOYLES got a freekick which was hit by Tim Klack. Rouven Nussli made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Valko Nanyov sent off a good shot on target. Nayden Vúlev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Borăscu in the 9th minute of play. Slavyan Mechkuev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Alvarez got free with Rouven Nussli in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacio Alvarez in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rouven Nussli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 20 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Javier Sanguinetti. After a defensive mix-up in International Thunders's zone, Slavyan Mechkuev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rouven Nussli came out of the goal and Slavyan Mechkuev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to GARGOYLES getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tim Klack hit a great ball. Rouven Nussli made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ignacio Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valko Nanyov in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Ignacio Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GARGOYLES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nayden Vúlev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 冯亦思 in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Borăscu in the 36th minute of play forced GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nichifor Borăscu in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nayden Vúlev saved GARGOYLES from getting behind. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valko Nanyov in the 39th minute of the match. The corner ended in Ignacio Alvarez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but International Thunders's Rouven Nussli did a great save. Nayden Vúlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 冯亦思, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Percival Costa came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the International Thunders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percival Costa couldn't finish the play. International Thunders made a substitution. Loukianos Staikos replaced Percival Costa. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 53rd minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Ignacio Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naycho Dotzov in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 63rd minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes, GARGOYLES's Ignacio Alvarez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rouven Nussli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GARGOYLES reached it. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Afonsinho Fernandes put in a rough tackle. International Thunders made a substitution. Gernot Kellner replaced Arthur Damm. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GARGOYLES! Nayden Vúlev went to the wrong direction when Julien-Nils Freeh was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nayden Vúlev made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when 冯亦思 sent off a good shot on target. Rouven Nussli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Gernot Kellner's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nayden Vúlev firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute Tibor Bäuschlein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nayden Vúlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, GARGOYLES's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Bäuschlein came free, but Nayden Vúlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, 李永乐 Appleton made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 冯亦思 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Nayden Vúlev made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Sciotto in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rouven Nussli saved International Thunders from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that 李永乐 Appleton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rouven Nussli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GARGOYLES had won after a very even match.
