A sloppy throw-in by Facundo Roncaglia in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Montesacro FC's Mathias Almeyda. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Bedir Erdönmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Rossi in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Hasan Sentosa made a precise shot to the right of Giacomo Casanova. Montesacro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Paolo Rossi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bedir Erdönmez firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 17th minute Hasan Sentosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Diguinho Moreira to fire away a dangerous shot which Giacomo Casanova despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bedir Erdönmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Palermo in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Rossi got free with Bedir Erdönmez in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Dimitar Berbatov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Bedir Erdönmez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Sentosa in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Palermo in the 47th minute of play forced Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's goalkeeper Bedir Erdönmez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasan Sentosa to make the kick off. Bedir Erdönmez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The corner ended in Juliusz Julien almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Bedir Erdönmez did a great save. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Klim Gabelkov was substituted for Yusuf Wahyudi. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montesacro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diguinho Moreira was slow to take the kick. During this time Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's players had a chance to rest. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Bedir Erdönmez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Palermo in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 82nd minute of the match Juliusz Julien sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedir Erdönmez skillfully saved the ball. In the 85th minute, Juliusz Julien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bedir Erdönmez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 92nd minute of play forced Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's goalkeeper Bedir Erdönmez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Montesacro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
