In the 26th minute, Gürsel Aksel made a precise shot to the right of Luizinho de Queirós. All Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of All Boys booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feridun Elmacı's late challenge caught a All Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feridun Elmacı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Basmane Texas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feridun Elmacı to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gürsel Aksel was the one to do the kick off. In the 66th minute, Tiburcio Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basmane Texas's Risto Luite was substituted for Kaptan Kıvılcım. All Boys made a substitution. A sloppy throw-in by Jan-Joost Sielis in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by All Boys's Cristian Vella.
