With a left leg Artur Boruc saved Markowy Team from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goalkeeper Artur Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Markowy Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Braga was slow to take the kick. During this time VB-Team's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Shao Kun Yuan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Markowy Team's Artur Boruc did a great save. Armindo Salgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mai Jian Xi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luís Braga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Boruc came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Braga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. Joaquim de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Artur Boruc made a huge save. The corner led Markowy Team's Yu Yong Mo to fire away a dangerous shot which Armindo Salgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 38th minute Tomasz Wietrzychowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervásio Severiano got free with Artur Boruc in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Enzo Pellecchia got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mai Jian Xi to strike the kick off in the second half. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Misiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Artur Boruc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gervásio Severiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Boruc was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. VB-Team made a substitution. Qiu Sheng Bang replaced Sandro Leitão. After 67 minutes Markowy Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. VB-Team's Mattias Jonasson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Artur Boruc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, Gervásio Severiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Boruc. Markowy Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervásio Severiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alcaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Yu Yong Mo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Armindo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Markowy Team getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tomasz Wietrzychowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 79th minute of play forced Markowy Team's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomasz Wietrzychowski came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Markowy Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomasz Wietrzychowski couldn't finish the play. Sebastião Gigante kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Markowy Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VB-Team.
