The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Marcos Ranolfo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Zemeckis got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michal Stehno. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kraig Fred in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Eguzki saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Lenni Skensved in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcos Ranolfo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 24th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kraig Fred to maneuver through the defense. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 25th minute of play.
