During this time Variante Delta's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, Arsenal's Gerardo Mano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thibaut Vandamme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Hornilla in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Arsenal defense, Caio Hornilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Martínez. The Arsenal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Martínez should have stopped the shot. Utha Wiranatakusumah's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thibaut Vandamme firmly grabbed it by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 76 played minutes Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Christian Chucho. 80 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Su 苏文斌 came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a left leg Emiliano Martínez saved Arsenal from getting behind. When Christian Chucho fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal's protests and gave Christian Chucho a yellow card for diving instead. Christian Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Arsenal's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Variante Delta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arsenal throughout the match.
