The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Sein in the 4th minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Agustin Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Sein in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Jago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Maximiliano Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Godofredo Austin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nippur de Lagash 2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Palmas the free kick. Godofredo Austin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Las Palmas's Lino Godoy got a free kick in the 14th minute. Tomás Segio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Evelio Naike made a huge save. After 17 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Gabino. In the 23rd minute, Nippur de Lagash 2's Ariel Medardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Eriberto Aragones lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Agustin Jago had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Fulgencio Tiadoro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 45 minutes, Paulino Gabino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Palmas and the Nippur de Lagash 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Paulino Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Dimas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Indartsu came free, but Evelio Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. That made the score 2-2 after 61 minutes of play. 66 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's Horacio Sein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Jago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Medardo came free, but Evelio Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Agustin Jago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Sein. Agustin Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Fanuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Las Palmas's Agustin Jago threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicanor Fanuco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute, Ariel Medardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evelio Naike was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Las Palmas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nippur de Lagash 2.
