The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Ye Yi Yi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carolo Bizen, made in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Bizen in the 8th minute of play forced CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's goalkeeper Julian Drebit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Rik. Julian Drebit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Bizen in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Carolo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Drebit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Drebit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurids Grejsen in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Yi Yi in the 17th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Zeledon Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Yi Yi in the 20th minute of play. Samuca Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Zeledon Curcio made a huge save. In the 25th match minute, CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Falcão to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Valentine in the 26th minute of play forced CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's goalkeeper Julian Drebit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ye Yi Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Julian Drebit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Valentine in the 29th minute of play. Freddy Claude hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Samuca Campidelis in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Campidelis in the 52nd minute of play. Julian Drebit made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Carolo Bizen sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ defense, Generoso Pinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Drebit. The CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Drebit should have stopped the shot. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Jonathan Lepe was substituted for Samuca Campidelis. In the 76th minute, Jonathan Lepe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 83 minutes into the match, CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Jonathan Lepe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Curcio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Yala's Alberto Jaunti got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Jonathan Lepe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Curcio. Yala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Lepe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ had played much better football throughout.
