Tifo Marinović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Joaquin Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tifo Marinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Cardozo in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes in the game Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Feo Cadorniga. If Benny Van der Poorten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Obrero Barquisimeto defense, Benny Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tifo Marinović. The Obrero Barquisimeto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tifo Marinović should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Cido Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Walter Bernaerts hit a great ball. Joaquin Lekubegi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tifo Marinović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Cido Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benny Hill to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Benny Van der Poorten tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tifo Marinović saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 57 minutes of play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Cido Cardozo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerome Ngake was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Fausto Comillas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Obrero Barquisimeto made a substitution. Bras Pizarro replaced Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin. Fausto Comillas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. FC Draconia's Walter Bernaerts couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Obrero Barquisimeto. FC Draconia's Adrian Costandin was substituted for Adrià Vassaras. Jerome Ngake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feo Cadorniga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tifo Marinović was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Ignacio Quinteros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Quinteros really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Ignacio Quinteros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tifo Marinović came out and tried to block the shot, but Ignacio Quinteros slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 74th minute. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Benny Van der Poorten hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerome Ngake narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tifo Marinović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Lekubegi in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Quinteros got free with Tifo Marinović in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes Obrero Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by Roland Walkowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bras Pizarro in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Bras Pizarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
