Constantin Maali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Azubeli came free, but Darío Friederichs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tyge Agesen spun around in front of the goal 19 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Nibiru X's goal. Constantin Maali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Bombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Darío Friederichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Åström in the 24th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Åström came free, but Darío Friederichs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Maali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 27th minute of play. If Jose Rojas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Tomás Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darío Friederichs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tomás Azubeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs got control of the ball when Álvaro Recoba tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes Nibiru X got a freekick which was hit by León Collado. After the first half Nibiru X were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Isidro De Gavardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantin Maali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 63rd minute of the match. Nibiru X's Renato Kilpatrick shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Constantin Maali but with some difficulty.
