Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Trezeguet in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Capixaba came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir de Sena got free with Bran Allison in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bran Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Corleone. Vladimir de Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Bran Allison made a huge save. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Trezeguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bran Allison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir de Sena in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Velasco in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bran Allison saved Cactos from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Bagge during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Peter Bagge got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Cactos booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Peter Bagge hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Cengizhan Baycan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez was substituted for Karol Borowski. Cactos's Luisinho Maciel was substituted for Cengizhan Baycan. Arturo Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despidida AFC's attentive Oliver Rizzo managed to snatch the ball when Gary Petrie made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Dorival de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Luisinho Maciel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Selatse, 1-1. Gary Petrie hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Toro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toro Martínez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
