Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilberto Izel took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaher Baroun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Saudi Arabia's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but Zaher Baroun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Gilberto Izel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saudi Arabia's Zaher Baroun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franco Moscatelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taqi Taqi in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Saudi Arabia defense, Gilberto Izel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zaher Baroun. The Saudi Arabia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zaher Baroun should have stopped the shot. Gilberto Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zaher Baroun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Izel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaher Baroun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaher Baroun came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel. But to his dismay, Gilberto Izel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 31st minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zaher Baroun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rashed Al Hadhod hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Gilberto Izel came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the La Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Izel couldn't finish the play. Zaher Baroun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Rozarius in the 40th minute of the match. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 43 minutes into the game, La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zaher Baroun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Saudi Arabia booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franco Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashed Al Hadhod, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 47 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Rashed Al Hadhod came free, but Franco Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taqi Taqi to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Gilberto Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Moscatelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taqi Taqi went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Saudi Arabia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Omar Al Asuosi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Saudi Arabia's Zaher Baroun got control of the ball when Gilberto Izel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Saudi Arabia's Rashed Al Hadhod in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Scaloneta's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Saudi Arabia getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Edrees Al Youha hit a great ball. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when Saudi Arabia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edrees Al Youha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Saudi Arabia's zone, Gilberto Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zaher Baroun came out of the goal and Gilberto Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saudi Arabia's Rajab Al Sohali was substituted for Rashed Al Hadhod. In the 78th minute, Enrique Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes La Scaloneta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edrees Al Youha who took care of the corner kick. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 85 minutes, Gilberto Izel made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Saudi Arabia's Zaher Baroun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saudi Arabia's Zaher Baroun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Saudi Arabia from getting a goal against them. La Scaloneta were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Saudi Arabia's much stronger midfield.
