With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Karlo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Lundqvist saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Golden Lions FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arne Tönnberg in the 31st minute. The corner ended in Joschi Hook almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe did a great save. Wojciech Fiszer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Anders Lundqvist made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wojciech Fiszer got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Durazno in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Eztebe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 40th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Loco Durazno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Eztebe was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wojciech Fiszer got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 54th minute of the match. Mats Nyström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 54th playminute. AFC FUSION's Jan Hop was substituted for Christoff Stocks. In the 60th minute of the match, Georg Termander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roberto Eztebe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Burç Tokhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Burç Tokhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Aureliano Karlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 95th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Dzierwa to maneuver through the defense. AFC FUSION were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Golden Lions FC for a fine match.
