C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Corrêa came free, but Intxixu Porregimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Abel de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexilhão F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 29th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Pernambucano came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Breckenfeld could save by the left post. Anaia Barba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Richard Breckenfeld made a huge save. Gugu Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Germano Pernambucano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Quebra Ossos FC defense, Germano Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Breckenfeld. The Quebra Ossos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Breckenfeld should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elói Branco to make the kick off. The referee gave Mexilhão F. C. a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anaia Barba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld. 3-0. In the 65th minute Ronaldinho Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mexilhão F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Mexilhão F. C.'s Germano Pernambucano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Gustavo de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Germano Pernambucano notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld. Richard Breckenfeld was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germano Pernambucano in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Pernambucano in the 90th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Richard Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Pernambucano in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Mexilhão F. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
