Teofilo Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Navarro having to interfere. Defensores de Lombroso's Lionel-Andrés Messi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Lionel-Andrés Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severo Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Ferrer in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severo Navarro. Lionel-Andrés Messi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 21 minutes, Segundo Goiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terapia Intensiva and the Defensores de Lombroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Goiz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro got control of the ball when Godfredo Gau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Defensores de Lombroso's Lionel-Andrés Messi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lionel-Andrés Messi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Severo Navarro 30 minutes into the match. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Terapia Intensiva's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Godfredo Gau was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores de Lombroso's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Lionel-Andrés Messi advanced and headed the ball into goal, 6-0 in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goalkeeper Severo Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Gau. 43 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Navarro. Terapia Intensiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lionel-Andrés Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 47 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severo Navarro. Lionel-Andrés Messi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lionel-Andrés Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Teofilo Esdras made a precise shot to the right of Severo Navarro. Terapia Intensiva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Lionel-Andrés Messi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Severo Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Lombroso. 61 minutes into the game, Defensores de Lombroso's Lionel-Andrés Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Lionel-Andrés Messi put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Severo Navarro. Severo Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Ovidio Gabrio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terapia Intensiva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Lombroso the free kick. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Ovidio Gabrio got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Terapia Intensiva getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ovidio Gabrio hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Fabricio Oliverios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Lombroso's Uriel Ferrer got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Terapia Intensiva defense, Uriel Ferrer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Navarro. The Terapia Intensiva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Navarro should have stopped the shot. Defensores de Lombroso's Valentín Barco was substituted for Lucio Cordarrol. Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 87th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Lionel-Andrés Messi made it 15-0 with a short kick to the right side. Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Terapia Intensiva's Isidoro Gauargi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Alan Varela struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Severo Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Lombroso. 96 minutes into the match, Uriel Ferrer notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Terapia Intensiva's Severo Navarro. Severo Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Defensores de Lombroso were the better team. Defensores de Lombroso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
