I. D. Alianza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldir Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gilbert Apelquist came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ronaldo Pozuelos could save by the left post. Ronaldo Pozuelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Torres in the 13th minute of play. Anselmo Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Anselmo Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Gatinhos Comunistas's Ronaldo Pozuelos threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Mota, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st match minute, I. D. Alianza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Moura to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, I. D. Alianza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xinaro Ayerdi to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Figueruela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I. D. Alianza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gatinhos Comunistas the free kick. In the 24th match minute, I. D. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Ferdinand Figueruela put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of I. D. Alianza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gatinhos Comunistas:s goal. If Xinaro Ayerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute of the match, Gilbert Apelquist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronaldo Pozuelos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. I. D. Alianza's Ronaldo Pozuelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save I. D. Alianza from getting a goal against them. Gatinhos Comunistas's Adrian Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Poling in the 37th minute of play. Adrian Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xinaro Ayerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led I. D. Alianza's Nivaldo Pestana to fire away a dangerous shot which Adrian Nunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, I. D. Alianza's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Apelquist came free, but Ronaldo Pozuelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. I. D. Alianza's Ronaldo Pozuelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Torres in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

I. D. Alianza made a substitution. Rosendo Caspe replaced Ignatius Borniquell. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Pozuelos having to interfere. If Alfred Poling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, I. D. Alianza's Xinaro Ayerdi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrian Nunes. Adrian Nunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 64 minutes, Gabriel Mota made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. I. D. Alianza's Ronaldo Pozuelos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldo Pozuelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the I. D. Alianza defense, Waldir Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Pozuelos. The I. D. Alianza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Pozuelos should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Mota in the 78th minute of play forced I. D. Alianza's goalkeeper Ronaldo Pozuelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neron Fasgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mano Fermosel hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Xinaro Ayerdi might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xinaro Ayerdi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 played minutes Gatinhos Comunistas got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Ramos. Gatinhos Comunistas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
