Anier Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Baumar in the 6th minute of play. Anier Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Benedicto Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Muhittin Pamiroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Bruno Beltxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortinero hasta la muerte and the LEON FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Fortinero hasta la muerte got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beltxe. Anier Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Rico in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Panfilo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Sayvion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, LEON FC's Muhittin Pamiroğlu got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 33 minutes LEON FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedicto Mino who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Raimundo Frasco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 36 minutes into the game, Damaso Celino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bartolo Sayvion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anier Sanduru made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Rosendo Rocio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Baumar in the 41st minute of play forced LEON FC's goalkeeper Anier Sanduru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Rico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Sanduru, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazimierz Piekarczyk was the one to do the kick off. Bartolo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Moise in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Mauricio Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Rico in the 65th minute of play. Raimundo Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Anier Sanduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Celino hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Anier Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Beltxe in the 78th minute of play. When Ciriaco Baumar came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Fortinero hasta la muerte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Baumar couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Moise in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Ciriaco Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Sanduru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Rico in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Sanduru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Ciriaco Baumar in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to LEON FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kazimierz Piekarczyk hit a great ball. Anier Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Baumar in the 97th minute of play. LEON FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
