After a defensive mix-up in Hurst Green's zone, Dariusz Wos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Nyamau came out of the goal and Dariusz Wos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dariusz Wos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Hurst Green's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Peter Nyamau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Wos scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Nyamau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Chege hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Peter Nyamau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 16th minute of play forced Hurst Green's goalkeeper Peter Nyamau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patagonia's Rafael Nóbrega was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Peter Nyamau in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurst Green's goalkeeper Peter Nyamau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Dariusz Wos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hurst Green's Peter Nyamau. Peter Nyamau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Nyamau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 43rd minute of play.

The wind increased when Adah Keter made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Wos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Nyamau was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. A.C. Patagonia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafael Nóbrega in the 52nd minute. Horea Boian hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A.C. Patagonia's Sylwester Sroka was substituted for Rui Costa. In the 57th match minute, A.C. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Boian to maneuver through the defense. Martin Chege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nils Støle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Støle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adah Keter, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Aldo Di Carlo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Peter Nyamau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Patagonia. Nils Støle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Asati in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by McDonald Leakey in the 75th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Nils Støle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hurst Green's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Nóbrega was slow to take the kick. During this time A.C. Patagonia's players had a chance to rest. In the 82nd minute Ludwig Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Nyamau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Nyamau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Di Carlo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Peter Nyamau came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Ludwig Wassenius. But to his dismay, Ludwig Wassenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Peter Nyamau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Di Carlo's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The A.C. Patagonia fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A.C. Patagonia played a much better game than Hurst Green and deserved their victory. The Hurst Green players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
