The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When U21 Argentina's Severiano Urbez in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Racing Club's goalie prevented a goal. Gao Fei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Barea in the 4th minute of the match. Gao Fei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Urbez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Saturnino Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gao Fei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of U21 Argentina booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oso Sigali didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Urbez came free, but Gao Fei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Severiano Urbez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gao Fei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of U21 Argentina booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oso Sigali didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Aaron Anselmino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gao Fei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Amato. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ixidor in the 37th minute of play. Severiano Urbez took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gao Fei. Gao Fei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Severiano Urbez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Eloy Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Racing Club's protests and gave Eloy Orlanda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eloy Orlanda hit a great ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Su Yuan Yu was the one to do the kick off. Gao Fei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ixidor in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match U21 Argentina got a corner. Real Racing Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Anselmino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cesar Cordairo tried in the 54th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Gao Fei a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. Severiano Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gao Fei having to interfere. U21 Argentina's Desiderio Hitz was substituted for Cleto Barea. 62 minutes into the match, U21 Argentina's Roberto Cherro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gao Fei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Ruperto Licerio with Su Yuan Yu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Roberto Cherro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ruperto Licerio made in the 84th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Su Yuan Yu however managed to control. After having played for 91 minutes, Roberto Cherro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Cherro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gao Fei didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3.
