Los Kollas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escuadrón Mercenario the free kick. Nando Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Predrag Nograšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Escuadrón Mercenario defense, Predrag Nograšek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nando Toscano. In the 44th minute Sayveon Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Los Kollas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Abeijon in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panos Papadimidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 98 played minutes, Escuadrón Mercenario's Peli Abalos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panos Papadimidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Escuadrón Mercenario reached it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
