But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Primo couldn't finish the play. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Abel in the 18th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CeciForEver's Omar Jakue in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Romulo Hever tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tony Guimarães. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 28th minute. Pastor Abel took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 36thth minute of the game Omar Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, CeciForEver's Omar Jakue got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute CeciForEver were awarded a corner. Leopoldo Loco went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on CeciForEver's corner Leopoldo Loco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tony Guimarães quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Primo was the one to do the kick off. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Jakue in the 52nd minute of the match. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Jakue in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Joaquin Inautzi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tony Guimarães, 0-3. CeciForEver's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Loco in the 68th minute. The corner led to CeciForEver's Pastor Abel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Leonel Eguzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Omar Jakue had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Guimarães. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Jakue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 78 minutes into the match, C. A.
