Nils-Åke Andreasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Lesardo Alavedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tapani Walker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tapani Walker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lesardo Alavedra in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Lesardo Alavedra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tapani Walker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tapani Walker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Solera in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Vincent Solera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Alavés's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Solera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tapani Walker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vinicio Neto hit a great ball. Tapani Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Alavedra, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lesardo Alavedra in the 41st minute of play forced ⚽️ THE WALKERS ⚽️'s goalkeeper Tapani Walker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aggelos Papadias kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Xavi Orange made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Alavés's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lesardo Alavedra in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tapani Walker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ezequiel Sendoa in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nils-Åke Andreasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nils-Åke Andreasson was a little too slow when Ezequiel Sendoa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-3. Deportivo Alavés's Xiao Mendez was substituted for Wiggo Wipp.
