Roman Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Exequiel Zeballos in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Alexander Isak notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon. Roman Vachon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute Med Gang FC were awarded a corner. Qi Liang went to the cornerflag to take it. After 8 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Rolfsson. Nils-Erik Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson got control of the ball when Ronald Ferenc tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute Alexander Isak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Jonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Son Banana in the 19th minute of the match. Med Gang FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Manfredi AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qi Liang took the corner. After 32 minutes Med Gang FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kieran Listkowski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Kieran Listkowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson did a great save. Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Rafe in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Rafe came free, but Nils-Erik Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Med Gang FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Exequiel Zeballos made a precise shot to the right of Roman Vachon. Manfredi AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Med Gang FC's Liam de Almeida was substituted for Exequiel Zeballos. In the 47th minute Liam de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Med Gang FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Son Banana to make the kick off. A collision led to Manfredi AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fausto Rafe hit a great ball. Son Banana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam de Almeida got free with Roman Vachon in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Vachon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liam de Almeida in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Berg got free with Roman Vachon in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Manfredi AFC defense, Liam de Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Vachon. The Manfredi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Vachon should have stopped the shot. Med Gang FC's İskender Baki Öksüzoğlu was substituted for Alexander Isak. Manfredi AFC's Rodolfo Chumo was substituted for Fausto Rafe. Manfredi AFC's Ladislao Mannie was substituted for Son Banana. Roman Vachon made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Hubert Valler sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute of the match Med Gang FC got a corner. Manfredi AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qi Liang ran over to the corner to take the kick.
