Nilson Peres came out of the goal and Maureen Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maureen Franco in the 13th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xinto Carreiras in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson Peres saved ITAFUT 4EVER from getting behind. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavies Casavela, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sidney Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilson Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maureen Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xinto Carreiras in the 20th minute of play. The corner led ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Bertassi to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximo Horquizar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Segundo Aureo threw the ball into play from the sideline. ITAFUT 4EVER's Jordan Henderson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xinto Carreiras was the one to do the kick off. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Bertassi in the 65th minute of the match. Maureen Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio was substituted for Sidney Bertassi. ITAFUT 4EVER's José Sand was substituted for Boguslaw Tarasek. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
