Natasha Persaud was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Natasha Persaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Gardner in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Kieran Faulkner came free, but Natasha Persaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kieran Faulkner kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Joseph Spurgeon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Jordan and the U21 Trinidad & Tobago players grew even worse after the yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Jordan's Louie Gardner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natasha Persaud. That made the score 1-4 after 87 minutes of play. In the 96th minute, Mortimer Rahamut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U21 Jordan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
