An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Máximo Policarpio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Uriel Rio with Augusto Berdaitz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Costică Ignătoiu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised La Rompen. La Rompen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Costică Ignătoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but La Rompen was relentless in the 27th minute of the game.
