The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Power Guido FC. The goalkeeper, Enéas Soeiro, was totally fooled by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 16 minutes into the match, Roberto Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Soeiro. The Power Guido FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Faustão Arantes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Carrillos in the 24th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Olivier Gilg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enéas Soeiro, 3-0. Enéas Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Gilg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Power Guido FC's Enéas Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save The Power Guido FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Song Xiong Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Long John in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Donato saved DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Long John was the one to do the kick off. The Power Guido FC's Enéas Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 55th minute of play. Roberto Lopes took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Soeiro. Enéas Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Enéas Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Gilg in the 62nd minute of play. Wiliam Fernandes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Chico Donato skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 67th play minutes Roberto Lopes shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Enéas Soeiro and just under the crossbar into goal. Olivier Gilg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roberto Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Soeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Fernandes got free with Chico Donato in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Lopes in the 75th minute of play forced The Power Guido FC's goalkeeper Enéas Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Roberto Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB made a substitution. Rodrigo Cisterna replaced Arnulfo Dolfos. The Power Guido FC's Rafael Carioca was substituted for Long John. The Power Guido FC's Sandro Joabe was substituted for Faustão Arantes. Enéas Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lopes in the 81st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Niculae Martinescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enéas Soeiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Power Guido FC's Wiliam Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 99th minute of the match DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a corner. The Power Guido FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olivier Gilg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Olivier Gilg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enéas Soeiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
